This bachelor's thesis is focused on management of purchase in construction companies. In theoretical part of the work is defined term corporate purchase and described process of purchasing management. Some models and process of supplier selection is described. Theoretical part analysis situation in three small construction companies. The results are compared and improvements are proposed.

This master´s thesis deals with the management of the purchasing strategy in the selected business company. This company sells products to final customers. The purpose of the thesis is to monitor purchasing processes mainly focusing on the supplier selection process. Thesis contains suggestion for a systematic selection process of prospective business partners, which is divided into four phases. Proposed suggestion contributes to higher productivity of the company´s purchasing strategy and considerably eliminates risk of high dependence on the sole supplier.

The subject of the thesis is to analyze the current state of company’s purchasing strategy, leading to identify areas for improvement of company’s purchase. The aim is to draft a new purchasing strategy while focusing on contracts. Based on the analysis, the thesis includes a proposal to expand the portfolio of products with a proper product, a proposal to deal with the specific customers’ requirements and a proposal of implementation of the strategy just-in-time. Proposals contribute to the effective management of purchasing.

The presented work relates with the purchasing management in construction. It consists of two parts. In the first part, we will focus on the theory of purchasing, then discuss the individual steps of the purchasing management and inventory management in the business. Moreover, we will bring insights from the area of suppliers - their selection and evaluation. In second, practical part, we analyze the current state of the purchasing management in selected companies. The output of attached work is a proposal for improvements and recommendations for business purchase following performed analysis.

The practical part analyzes situations in construction companies by questionnaire survey and case study. Consequently recommendations for provision of carefree process of e-auction are proposed.

The master's thesis deals with the purchasing process of network trade within its information system. The thesis focuses in more detail on the individual purchasing activities that take place in the purchasing process. The aim of the analysis of these activities is to find critical points and propose appropriate improvements. The submitted proposals and changes in the information system contribute to streamlining the purchasing process and ultimately to effective management of supplier-customer relationships and customer satisfaction.
